Problem v.s. Issues

Problem v.s. Issues In my opinion problems are more surface level, and still have a chance to being solved as they have not been officially internalized. The question mark still remains in one's identity, when there are known or unknown problems in your life. Now, when unknown problems go unchecked they become issues. In short, problems are personal issues that do not affect others around you much, and are able to be managed when acknowledged. Now issues, are the internalized problems of an individual that has been woven into the fabric of that person rather knowing or unknowingly. These issues, infect the environment and people around them in a damaging way. Issues have been marinated in negativity, and rationalized rather than cultivated for healthy solutions. It is best to stand clear of people like this because they too, are good at what they do and know how to selfishly manipulate only for their own gain. Hence, the best advice for you is to be sage with your choices, learn t...

Dedication V.S. Loyalty

This is something that I've had in my heart for a long time, loyalty being in the forefront of what I continually heard, but something didn't sit right with my spirit.  As I grew in age, I began to articulate that feeling by understanding the difference between loyalty and dedication. In short, I believe that dedication is much more important than loyalty.  I believe this because I believe in accountability and self love first. Loyalty has to do with a type of submission to a person places or thing even without analysis or deep thought. This reminds me of slavery, when you think about it, masters wanted their slaves loyal to them and them only and slaves were just that.  In fact, id even say that is what made them a slave at the core. They weren't dedicated to themselves, because all of their worked was exhausted for others benefit.  In dedication, it requires your attentativeness, consistent work ethic, and submission to due process. In that I can now honor that beyo...

Purpose

Purpose is living life. Feeling every moment of every second and being grateful. It is the reason behind our own personal convictions. Different than passion, purpose can be physical, or non physical. It can be a person, place or thing. It gives us the reason to be grateful of the moments that we live because none of us asked to be here, but all of us have to handle the realities of being here.  In the scarcity of purpose in your own life, you'll find depression, addiction and self sabotage. It almost seems as if if your purpose isn't present to you, death is because the body and minds default purpose. WE all know that is not a life to live at all.

The Disease of Contentment

The Disease of Contentment When we think of disease, we think of a physical ailment. Rightfully so, that is disease, but we often over look the invisible diseases. DIS-EASE, is just as it implies when breaking the word down to being in a state of unbalanced (health).  With that being noticed, we must recognize contentment as a dis ease. This means that's something is surely out of balance, and balance and purpose are two of the most vital parts of happiness.  When we are content, it imitates how happiness must feel, when it is actually just a mere moment in happiness.  TRUE happiness is a life long commitment and dedication, never settling completely because that alludes the reason for purpose.  This is why I think we should always challenge ourselves, which deals with expansion and which mimics nature and the universe.

Filling up your Cup FIRST!

I am learning that I must fill my cup first.  It may be coming from the feeling of strain and drain of my own cup being filled up last.  My new reality is that I must be full before I can properly help anyone else out. It is selfish to think that I am so special that I can give to others even with an empty or low cup. I am not special at all, just a mere mortal human. This is me humanizing and normalizing my grandiose mindset that's I can give what I don't have. I must build, and to build I need energy. This goes along with my philosophy of the good selfish which states that "good selfish" is when your so called selfishness benefits others and not takes away from them long term. I am even learning to live by my own revelations.  Learning to be good selfish is the hardest task for me. Something surely has to die inside for a new faculty to arise. It is now a life's task, because it'll take me to the next level of myself. What I have learned in the process of be...

Writers Block

As writers we must learn to let our emotions flow. At times we feel as though we have to be rigid to our own developed systems, rather we created them or they were given. These systems give us a purpose and a sense of pride about our work. We write because we are sensitive to what life has to offer and we attempt to explain what we see. The human connection, calls this art, but is really our emotions materialized. Sometimes, as we try to express to ourselves what we are feeling to release any tension, there is a blockade.  This block is frustrating and discouraging, and I feel this comes from the fact that we are forcing that emotion through our given art, rather than letting it flow.  Art is not science, but there is an art to science.  I think that if this is true, that we are all artist but we don't all know how to express our art. Science can be a start to learning who you are in a very methodical manner, that can expand your mind through beautiful discovery. Looking ...

Passion

Passion  Passion is a concept of undying vigor, it can be described as an unquenchable thirst or an ever burning 🔥 blaze of desire. This burning sensation can seem to have no origin and I wonder sometime if mine is based on a past life's evil failure or successful venture. It seems to be the same on both sides and ambiguous.  The selection of the person places or thing seems to arbitrary. I am a man of keen notice of patterns, perceptions and concepts. I can't say that I've built this curiosity of the passion of knowledge and understanding so it must have been there previous to my existence. Is passion breed, is it selfish, or is it a drive beyond a person's understanding. Almost like it needs a host to survive just as a virus or bacteria. This sounds like a negative connotation, but veils the same, metaphorically speaking.  Sometimes to quantify the meaning of something we must look to see what is the antithesis. The opposite of passion can be nonchalance or the lack ...
